Circles 44 is a trio made up of Massimiliano Amatruda on piano, Joseph Circelli on guitar and Andrea Grillini on drums, it was born in Bologna at the end of 2017 and offers a repertoire of original compositions whose arrangements are always the result of a collective and empirical research.
Many compositional and improvisational approaches coexist in the music of the trio, sounds and moods among the most disparate and antithetical,
of which the jazz language is the glue in all its forms and facets.
The first album titled "Cratere" was published in October 2020 for the Aut Records label.
